Values & Principal of Organization

EDC-Nepal is a social development organization  established by social movement. This organization, active in favor of human rights, social justice and social  transformation, has been adopting the following values ​​to  achieve its goals and objectives. 

1. Human behavior: A positive change in human behavior is necessary for social change and justice equality. Until there is a positive change in human behavior, there will be no human existence and dignity in the society. The organization undrstands that the effect of which is on the entire development system. 

2. Equality: Ethnically and sexually, the problems, desires  and needs of men and women are different. There should be equal participation of men and women in the process of    equitable distribution of resources and in all development    process. Therefore, to fulfill the needs and desires based on the rights of men and women, the EDC-Nepal is confident that the fair distribution of resources without discrimination and their equal participation in development process is the recognition of the principle of equality which can contribute to an egalitarian society. 

3.    Unity: The organization has conceptualized that unity is      strength. It is inevitable to emphasize on the side of unity by    embracing the belief that one for all, all for one.

4. Participation: The organization is convinced that social        development is not sustainable without people's participation. The organization insists on the principle that in the process of social transformation there should be community activism, community leadership and community participation.
